The summer solstice window is here (in the northern hemisphere) & winter solstice in the southern — and we are inside a triple fire activation.
We are in the Fire Horse year (Bing-Wu) — a combination so rare it arrives once every 60 years. The last time was 1966. The Fire Horse doesn’t simmer. It boils. It clears. It runs.
Since June 15, we also entered the Horse Month in the Chinese lunar calendar — a double-Horse window that runs through July 13. Fire Horse year *inside* a Fire Horse month.
And the solstice fell inside all of it.
In Chinese cosmology, the summer solstice (for you northern hemisphere folks) is the peak of yang — the moment solar fire reaches its zenith before beginning its slow descent. It’s the exact moment yin is born.
For those of us in the southern hemisphere, we are at the opposite pole — peak yin, the longest night — and it is here, in the deepest dark, that solar fire begins its return. Thi kind of fire is a rekindling from the ground up. The yang seed born inside winter.
The seed of return, planted at the height of burning.
This fire comes not just to destroy something, but to offer a controlled burn. The kind that clears old growth so something true can come through.
The things that have been simmering in you? This window was made for them to finally boil and alchemise down into the dusts of transformation.
Triple activation: Fire Horse year. Horse month. Peak solar fire.
